| This position is responsible for conducting Health and Safety courses at the chapter as well as in workplaces, schools, and other community settings. § Teaches Health and Safety classes assigned by a staff member in the § Health and Safety Department. § Evaluates student progress and eligibility through skills and written or oral tests. § Distributes and collects customer satisfaction surveys. § Promotes the sale of first aid and CPR products. Skills § Minimum of 17 years of age § Friendliness, flexibility and sense of humor helpful –you are a goodwill ambassador and important to the image of the American Red Cross § Good organizational skills § Strong oral and written communication skills § Public speaking/teaching experience preferred § Comfortable with the use of electronic audio/visual equipment § Valid Driver’s License Training Provided Ad provided by Idealist.org |
